Volume 1

Shema Koleinu was created on the fourth day of Yom Kippur War. As Jews throughout the world united in aid of our homeland, we too wished to contribute our share to the war effort. Our purpose was to provide a moment of joy amidst the tribulations of facing war and death. As well we hoped to somewhat satisfy our brethren's spiritual needs by distributing various religious articles.

From the snows of Hermon, to the sands of Africa, from the wounded in the hospitals to the healthy in the bunkers, throughout our 180 performances, we were met with unrestrained kindness and consideration. We grew to become very close to our brothers in Aretz, and it is to them, the defenders of Israel, that we Shema Koleinu, dedicate our first album.
