Feel the Holidays in the air … Laizer Shweber presents: “המעוררים” Indeed, it was difficult to get all the greatest chassidic singers to perform on this album, but after the fact, the results are very impressive.  Laizer Shweber a businessman from Telz Stone, Israel. He composed numerous songs over the years, with a warm “Yeshivishe touch”.
This past Elul, he brought into the studio, the best singers with chassidishe neshoma. Shweber, who has graduated from the “Ateret Israel” Yeshivah and in “Chevron Yerushalaim” , is connected to Jewish music since a young age. When he reached the age of 25, in the spring of 2000, he started composing his own tunes. After two years he produced his first album where one of the songs stood above the rest, and is remembered to this day: “Adir Ba’marom” and it was sung/performed by “Tzlil Ve’zemer” children’s choir . Laizer is a composer but not a singer, & that is the reason that best of Chassidic singers of the world like Mordechai Ben David and Mendy Werdyger, Sruly Ginsberg, Shlomo Cohen, Yosef Karduner etc. sing his melodious compositions with special feeling.
Laizer has been working in the studio for over one year, intensively working to come up with these moving tunes. Listening to “Ha’meorerim” album brings back the listener to the special Yom Tov atmosphere at this time of the year.
