A Gut Yohr
|Original Release Date||Sep 23, 2007|
Gut yom tov, gut yohr. How many times a year do Jews say this to each other?! The hope we have when we say these words. The confidence that Hashem will také care of us when we exchange these words. Most of all, the warmth that we give to our fellow Jews when one Jew says to another, gut yom tov, gut yohr. The warmth and spiritual closeness we get towards our maker and towards our fellow Jews on the Yomim Tovim and the special day each week, the Shabbos, can never be minimized. One of the main ways we are able to achieve that warmth and amazing spirituality is through Jewish music associated with these special days.
As a result of the above, we thought it was important and exciting to have the opportunity to bring out a terrific sampling of the Jewish music that is most recognizable in its association with Jewish holidays and Shabbosim everywhere.
Enjoy and on that note, we hope this album brings you joy, happiness, spirituality and most of all, a reminder of one of those examples of the warmth behind the phrase, gut yohr!
